Já falamos aqui e aqui desta Associação fundada em 1995, com origem em Pemba e que vem criando cultura e arte em Cabo Delgado buscando temas na tradição rica, diversa do povo do norte de Moçambique.

Programme name:
Tambo International Art Camp 2008 "Celebrating Cultural Diversity".
Date: 2 weeks - 07th of July to the 20th of July.
Join in! - Experience cultural diversity by joint activities with artists and artist interested people from Pemba and other parts of the world. Make art, exchange ideas and experience the cultural diversity of Pemba and other corners of the world from where the participants live through art work shops, visit local art communities and be part of realizing the 3rd Tambo Festival: "Celebrating Cultural Diversity 2008".

Programme:
Day 1: Participants coming to the centre and settling in. Welcome gathering in the evening.
Day 2: Work shop.
Day 3: Work shop.
Day 4: Visit to the Mbanguía Cultural Centre and wood carving artists at Bela Baía.
Day 5: Cultural activities with local youth and children.
Day 6: Developing common performance and cultural evening with performing Tufo group.
Day 7: Day off - fell free.
Day 8: Continuing preparations for the common performance.
Day 9: Visiting Parquite and cultural performances there.
Day 10: Preparation for the Tambo Festival "Celebrating Cultural Diversity".
Day 11: Preparation for the Tambo Festival "Celebrating Cultural Diversity".
Day 12: Work shop and common performance in a compound.
Day 13: Tambo Festival "Celebrating Cultural Diversity".
Day 14: Fare well party.
